Capture Life!

I've had a camera in my hands for a very long time. I remember my father purchasing my very first camera when I was still in grade school. It was a Sony camera. I've grown a lot since then and have loved capturing weddings from 2007 to 2017. Because my personal interest shifted to designing, I take on a very limited number of portrait sessions now and focus on mainly on designing.

Phones have made it easier for the average person to capture great images daily with just there phone. Although I would prefer a professional camera for clients, you can do a lot with your handy phone.

Here are some great apps to check out if you have an iPhone or an Android phone.

Snapseed

The above is in a league of it's on and should stand alone. It's free and it's a beast!

This was my oldest child, then just barely 5 years old, pictured with his second camera. Now thirteen years old and in junior high school, he dabbles a bit with his 20D professional camera that I passed down to him. He also does beautiful photography on his iPhone 8. More tips on iPhone photography coming soon. You can see him above in my header photo with his second drone, Breeze 4K. He dabbles in 3D Printing, coding and software development and dreams of being an engineer or computer software programmer.

My camera is a Canon 70D. I have other cameras but the 70 is my most recent camera along with several lenses. One day, I hope to get the 5D as well.

Every time I think I'm going to give up photography, I fall in love with it all over again.

Pictured to the left is my beautiful niece this year during her Senior portraits. I've taken many seniors over the years but this session was special and probably my best work of senior portraits.

Isn't she a beauty? I took hundreds of photos and I loved each and every one!
