Grants & Donations
Take advantage of the sites that offer grant opportunities and donations
to add more resources to your classroom. Below are a list of sites to help
you get started.
Grant Gopher - this link will take you directly to the Texas grants of this
site. When I last looked, there were 44 available for the state of Texas.
They will allow 3 free searches so be prepared when using this site.
Donors Choose - Teachers can post projects on DonorsChoose.org year-round!
For schools on a traditional calendar, they do have a summer ordering break to avoid delivery mishaps that could result in lost or stolen materials when school is not in session. You can read more about this here: Ordering schedule for projects funded in spring and summer.

Pledge Cents - This site is open for ANYONE, whether you are a classroom teacher or not and as long as the request is K-12 related. It is a crowdfunding platform for educational needs. It works a little differnt from Donors Choose. You can even raise funds for trips. Any funds raised is yours to keep even if you don't reach your goal. The task is simple, create a cause, share your story, raise money.
Adopt-A-Classroom - is a national nonprofit that supports student success by empowering teachers with the funds they need to purchase classroom supplies.
Classwish - ClassWish.org is the easy and efficient way for teachers to get the support they and their students need. We also serve administrators and PTA/PTO leaders.
